Thinking of just gutting my catted DPs... am I insane?

I have the AR Design down pipes with racing cats and I'm considering hammering out the internals to make it more or less, a cat-less DP system. Yes yes, I know I could just buy a cheap set of catless DPs, but gutting the DPs would be 100% free to me (I would do it myself).

Am I insane to even consider this? What would be the downfalls, having two mini-resonators behind the turbos? Would this significantly increase the sound/drone of my berk exhaust?

I'm on the fence if it's even worth the time doing it, but curious what others might think.

Sell them and buy meowless if you want. No idea why you'ld bust up something so expensive. Downside? Increase turbulence that close to the turbo you could lose power. Same reason not to gut stock dps.

I was thinking turbulence too. Unless you ground and polished the sides to ensure they are completely smooth where the cat was attached, you risk disturbing the air flow.
I wouldn't do it.

Be better to cut them out and weld in straight pipe.

I'm willing to sell my DPs to someone. Looking to just get the BMS catless DPs and would be happy to sell my DPs for the same price as the BMS DPs ($359.00 + shipping).

To anyone who might see this, my AR catted DPs are already sold. Talk about an idea/change going from 0-200 in a split second, LOL!

Lol that was a good price for catted DP. Niche market but they charge up the ass for those. I have AR Design resonated and ceramic coated dps and I love them.
