SA can't change my car

I asked my SA to add HD radio to my car on Friday, he replied that BMW has locked him out from making changes. Either BMW has a problem, or production is close to starting.

Ask if it's in status 111 still. If it hasn't gone to 112, you are allowed to change things, and they simply are having issues with the ordering system.

Yes, but that info is delayed a few days usually. Mine still says "The status of your Alpine White 135is Cp is - On Order.".

115 - At Your BMW Center

hey Chris, youand I ordered almost exactly the same time. Did you get any update on production status? Should get a production date within the next week from what I understand. I just added HD about 1.5 weeks ago. My brother suggested it might be a good idea. I would have been happy with iPod and Sirius anyhow though.

thanks, I just put a call into him and he said both our orders are solid. But BMW gave out a second round of production slots that they just pulled back. He doesn't expect a production date for another couple of weeks though...

HD Radio isn't really that cool IMHO. Sirius is much cooler.

Oh and I'd be adding the sport package before anything else.

Just some thoughts.

I had SAT radio in my last car and I wasn't impressed at all. I want HD radio since I listen to AM talk radio (the station is in HD).

As far as the Sport Pkg...No thanks. I want the more comfortable seats. I know everyone is bashing the std seats, but it's BMW they make great std seats!
