Anyone ever change their fuel filter/pump?
I'm not seeing a DIY anywhere after searching. Supposedl, it's a maintenance item that should be done every 30k miles or so.. I'm at 60k and have not done it. From what I gather, it's in the fuel tank. Anyone know how to get in there and change it?

From the research I've done in the past, it's under your rear seat. Turner recommends 80-100K. Mike Miller recommends 60K for newer model BMWs.
Here's the best DIY video I could find that would be somewhat simliar to our vehicle -- I'm not look forward to doing it in the future. Last edited by dailowill; 07-15-2015 at 06:20 PM.. |

By replacing the fuel pump, are we replacing the filter as well? I was actually looking into doing this soon as I'm pretty high mileage right now. Is the filter within the pump or is it a separate part/location?
