My car almost killed me!

FRIDAY:

I took a left turn at 45, which is five miles slower than i have taken that turn the last 10 times. Anyway instead of DSC kicking and straitening me out, the back end of my car came flying out...I immediately threw it back into second from third and fucked around with clutch and gas and steering....i got my self straight and pulled over. And there it was on my iDrive screen, Dynamic Stability Control System malfunction drive cautiously...i click ok...then same thing for my Flat Tire Monitor, and ABS. I call my cousin who is a SA at South Bay BMW and drop the car off. He tells me it’s probably just the steering angles sensor or the CIP 21 I did two weeks ago and my TCU is jacked. They try to stick me with a Mini, I ask why not a 3er, they the chick before me got there first (hot MILF too). So I smoke a stogy and wait 5 mins...luckily a lady brings in an E46 325i step...

SAT & SUN: Drank like a fish (long goddamn week)

MONDAY:
well three days pass and now its Monday, I call him again. He tells me that it is the DSC sensor. They order the part.

TUESDAY:
One day passes and i get a call. The new sensor spit out the same fault codes. He orders a new DSC module. "Its ok, it happens" he tells me. If wasn't family i would have killed him.

WEDNESDAY:
Today they put in the part and the same fucking thing...goddamn it....he says he has seen this before, E90's bla bla bla...technology...bla bla bla...now i wait....at least i have a BMW loaner though

i hope they get you a good chip next time!

Seriously though, 45 around a turn, unless it's WIDE, is just asking for trouble.

You're supposed to brake BEFORE a turn!

Lucky it didn't end up worse.

If your DSC wasn't working, do you think you made a mistake in that heel-toe to cause the imbalance?

City streets are no place for you to make like your Michael Schumacher; as you alluded to, take it to the track.

As good as DSC is, it cannot overcome the laws of physics. Learn proper driving technique (on the track) and know the limitations of your car. Don’t rely on DSC to take care of things if you lose control of your vehicle.

Reminds me of that drifting video I just returned to Netflix. Aah, but now you have that e46 you can toy with.

How times have changed. The electronic babysitter goes awry and 'my car almost killed me'. Wonder what your car says about its driver?
Seriously, the chips do not seem to be BMW's forté.

Glad it wasn't worse, and no one got hurt. I understand being upset about a malfunction (at the worst time too), but this is probably a good way to learn a little lesson.

Let he among us who hasn't done something in poor judgement or a moment of stupidity cast the first stone! One thing for sure is - that rapid heartbeat and sweaty palms tends to make an imprint on your memory!

Let us know about the repair.. sounds like a PITA getting fixed.
