2011 BMW 135i N55 JB4 problems...

Car was working completely fine prior to this....
-Mods
VSRF downpipes
Chargepipe
Full exhaust

Followed the directions on n54 tech on how to install JB4..
Double checked connections, started the vehicle and no check engine light came on and everything seemed fine. Put it on map 5 and drove a total of 45 miles and it never kicked on... Car felt slower then stock, ran some logs and was only hitting 2psi then my check engine came up and pulled a code 2c57. Checked for boost leaks and couldnt find any.. Going to uninstall and reinstall again tomorrow and triple check everything.. Any ideas? I do find it weird how on the installation directions is says not to install the brown plug that it came with.. I did just purchase this a week ago.. Did it come with the updated software? Any ideas? Thanks

I bought my 135 this past May and one othe first things I did was put in a JB4 with the iso board and Bluetooth connection. Like you, I went to map 5 and got some lackluster results.

Long story short, I went to N54 tech forum and got immediate, outstanding help

1) map 5 requires that you plug in several parameters on the setup page. However, maps 1 and 2 will run on their on right out of the box. Try those maps. I think map 1 targets 12 psi and map 2 is 14 psi. (I'm on my phone working from memory). If you make boost on those maps then you are fine but need to fix the parameters page for map 5.

2). Once I took care of the above I ran some log files and posted on N54 tech. My car had 48k miles and the original spark plugs. I was still not holding peak boost because the plugs were not giving a clean spark. New plugs made a TREMENDOUS difference. The car is now faster than I ever imagined.

Tried map 2 still nothing might be something with installation.

As others have said, the best place to post is n54 tech. You need to provide more information. A log and picture of the Jb4 settings screen would be good piecesnif information.
