N54 - Engine Oil that minimizes temp/limp
As titled. 300V is off limit as it's too damn expensive and requires more frequent changes. What I have in mind are these, but found no real info on which might be better, esp at the track. Pricing-wise they seem abt the same. Any thought?
- GC 0W-30 - Any non-300V Motul. The X-cess 5W-40? - RLI Biosyn 5W-40 HD Thanks!

Actually, scratch the RLI. It's almost 300V pricing..
How about Belgian Castrol 0W-40?

I blend M1 5w-40 and 0w-40 with favorable results. Turn the heater on, it helps more than you could ever imagine. With no cooling modifications at all, I have never had to deal with temp related limp mode. Oil temps sit around 270 on track with the heater on.

Yeah. I have the heater turned on and it only delays the inevitable slightly. Want to delay it some more with abetted engine oil.
I am already on M1 0W-40 and it isn't really that much better than the BMW OEM 5W-30, if not worse. And dun wanna go the oil cooler route. Thx for all the suggestions so far!
