Sorry Guys. Nothing Crazy. Just replaced OEM bulb for the Halos with HID Kit (make sure it's the Can Bus system to avoid any lights going off on the dash) Oh and make sure it's completely sealed on the back housing to avoid any humidity inside the headlights. I've tried LED replacement bulbs but they just weren't bright enough.

I used the 4300. Just get make sure it's a Can Bus system. Very bright. Just be really careful if you are going to do it. If it's not done right you can damage the Headlamp.

Was it tricky to get everything into the headlight? I went with halogen because it's just a bulb. Do you have any problems with it dimming when the lights turn on? I like my angel eyes when my lights are off, but it dims the angel eyes when the xenons come on and they turn yellow.

Damn son, how hot do these puppies run? Have you taken temperature readings when they've been on for a while? I cannot imagine that's good for your halos.

They stay bright at all times. You don't get everything into the headlight, just the HID bulb, then all the wiring is ran outside the back housing of the headlight which requires drilling to be able to feed the wires out to the HID ballast. Just make sure that it's seal to avoid any water/humidity.

I've had them for about 1 month since I purchased the car. I've done long distance driving and no issues. These don't run really hot at all. Also these HID kit isn't your regular $40 kit from Ebay.

So, what HID kit is it then? Did you buy it from retroresource, or is it from a 3rd party group like AlpineMSS?
