How to make the performance steering wheel turn on with car?
Does anyone know how to make the performance steering wheel turn on with the ignition? I hate having to hold down the two buttons to turn it on manually.

I've searched myself and couldn't find an answer. on the side note, does your steering wheel display (not the led lights) turn off after about 5 to 10 minutes? And it will turn right back on instantly when you press one of the two buttons. When the display turns off, the shift lights still work.. so i'm guessing it goes into some kind of power saving mode. Not sure if it's suppose to do that.. |

I haven't noticed what you mentioned, as I haven't been using the display much because of the very fact that I have to turn it on manually. I'll keep an eye out for it though and let you know. |

There isn't a way. There also isn't a way to prevent the 10min time out. The "module" that controls the steering wheel LEDs/Screen sits in an insinuated pocket behind the glove box and gets very hot. The reason it times out is to prevent overheating. Because you can't get that module separately from the kit, it's very experience to replace, thus they don't want it burning out.
