Thanks Stan for the quick DIY picture. This took him just "5 mins".

i got my fabric from Euro-Dyne but i highly recommend this fabric! it takes time and a little work but the outcome is worth every bit and is way better than spending $300 to get it wrapped somewhere else. i'm working on wrapping my trim right now and here's what i got done so far. it is black cf fabric btw...

It's put together by using 3M super 77 adhesive from home depot. It's really simple and takes little time. The finishing result is incredible.

one note though, I'd probably wrap the different sides with opposing patterns instead of matching, since it's not goign to look right. does that make sense?

Hard to tell what that would look like installed. I gotta get rid of my piano black though. It is glaring sun in my eyes like woah! What would you reccommend on black interior for a lil pop?

Charcoal one would be really clean looking if it's black interior. However if you really want to stand out, titanium is definitely the color to go.

I need more details on how to work the install. I would like to order, but I want to know what I'm getting into. Any good DIY on the process? Also, how durable and lasting is the material? Will it start to curl off after a few years (like wall paper)? I would hate to go through the work, just to have it start peeling or curling off after like 4 years.

Here is a DIY from e90 member

It's very good fabric material, so it's not like wall paper that will curl off.

Thanks
Eric

Normally we recommend two yards leaving some room for errors.... but if you are good, 1 yard is just about right. =)

Ordering is easy, u can do it either paypal us at sales@pyspeed.com or you can order online.

Thanks for your interest
Eric =)

Hey, one more Eric. How durable is the fabric against water or outdoor abuse (snow, rain, sun, etc)?

Here are the characteristics of this fabric if you missed it up top

CF Fabric prides itself of the following:
-Extended Longevity
-Dry Carbon Effect
-OE Quality Finish
-Water Resistant
-Stain Resistant
-Crack Resistant

but it's not recommended to be use on the exterior parts at all.

IMO this way looks better since when you look at all the pieces directly the weave all goes the same way, if you do it the way you are talking about every piece would match except the driver's door piece and that wouldnt look right. plus if you look on a M3 every piece has the weave going the same way as i did.

Could you sell me a trim tool as well to get the parts off without breaking anything?
