To more specifically address it, it seems highly likely at that price that they are counterfeits. BMW has been addressing that rising trend more and more recently:

yes, that is odd....kind of interesting the way they were packed....no box....the rotors were in a corrugated cover, then in a plastic bag....obviously, these rotors were bulk packed, on a skid or in a crate, which is how a BMW dealer would have gotten them....but how did ECS wind up with them? And why didn't they advertise them as BMW rotors? #suspicious...

The specifically said they were not BMW more accurately.

They been on sale since November 2013 when I first spotted them. I just never pulled the tigger, they also have bmw rear calipers on sale really really cheap.

They were at that price for well over a year. Probably just a heavy inventory.
