Roof racks look good!

Reminds me of when I moved apartments, moved all the furniture just doing trips with my 130,

looks great! how you find the ZHP gearknob? I'm looking into getting one as well since my M knob is kinda worn out. If you don't mind, could you ping me where you got it? Cheers!

Thanks mate. ZHP is fantastic! Much better feel in the hand as it's a smoother shape. Weight is not much more than the stock one so shift feel is the same.

The only issue is the gaitor doesn't fit into the base like the M-sport knob. The solution is to zip tie nice and high it to the shifter from the inside, or else just deal with the few mm gap. At the moment it doesn't annoy me so I've left it. Will add a photo so you can see how it sits.

I bought it on eBay from these guys but they don't seem to have anything in the store at the moment - http://stores.ebay.com.au/thebmwminipartstore-2

Was around $120AUD delivered from memory.

Hey Tom! Fancy seeing you here - hope the Clio's going well, I sure do miss it! Still have Dad's phase 1 sitting in my garage from back when you bought the 172 so that's been sating the Clio needs.

Thanks for the kind words - enjoying the car and its differences to the Clio!

Next time!

Just had BMS Autohaus flush the brake fluid and remove the CDV while they were there. Brakes feel nice and the clutch action is definitely improved. Will let it sink in for a few days as the clutch modulation has changed somewhat.

Overall, happy with the service and pricing from BMS!

Should be going into the panel shop next week for some light repairs - had someone perform an illegal U-turn in front of me with no warning (they were in the left lane and turned across me). It was low speed so only very minor damage but got onto the insurance claim quickly to avoid excess. Hopefully some of the other minor bumper blemishes get fixed up in the process!

Also have some new gear and handbrake gaitors on order from eBay UK. My OEM handbrake one is a little worn so took the opportunity to replace both so they're matching. Will report back with photos once fitted. Additionally, I tracked down a 135i rear muffler in Melbourne that my mate collected for me. Just need to sort transport to Sydney and install. Looking forward to that!

Quite like these, if painted body colour:

But I also like the subtle lips in CF:

I've got the CF front splitters - Suits the MSport bumper well!

Very keen on the BMWP front and a nice lip to go with it one day!

These just arrived. Now to find somewhere to fit them that won't cost an arm and a leg...

EDIT: Just got a verbal estimate from BMS for 6 hours labour involving removing the subframe completely from the car. Might be cheaper to drive to Melbs, have VTL fit them and make a weekend of it!

Untitled by autofocus .net.au, on Flickr

Also fitted these new gear gaitor and handbrake surround from UK as my handbrake had strange wear marks on it and it was annoying me:
