Badger Bimmers at Concours
Today was the Badger Bimmers BMWCCA auto show at Concours motors in Glendale, WI.
It was my first experience with the club (finally made an event) and there were some really sweet Bimmers. The crummy thing is I forgot to bring my camera. Had a great time and I am still wiping the drool from everyone off my 135i. I think most people really like the One!!

Was that yours in the parking lot all blacked out? It looked bad ass with the black grills and wheels!

We picked up our 135i vert at Concours on 6/4 (Thursday). It would have been nice if they mentioned there was a show just two days later.
On another note, it took just 4 days to get pulled over for no front plate. We now have 15 days to comply. Wrecked my weekend. |

Oak Creek on Howell and Rawson. Now to find a good no holes bracket. I'm looking at the one from gominigo. It uses the front bumper tow spot. Anyone ever see one in action?

I haven't been bothered with the no front plate stop yet and I drive that area very frequently.
Depends on the time of day and if the departments in the area are doing the drunk driving saturation patrols. When those occur you WILL get pulled over for anything and everything.

You would usually get a "fix it ticket" like tpg22 did. Fix it within 10 or 15 days and no fine.
If you get an actual ticket it varies from agency to agency but should be around $85. Equipment violations aren't as much as moving violations.

It was 10:30am on a Sunday morning. I think we were singled out. We went back to the area and in a 15 min time period 30 cars drove by without front plates.
Just ordered the gominigo bracket. Now I have to decide when to use it and when to leave it off. I have only seen one 1er vert in my area. I kind of stand out and I'm sure the officer will be watching. I wonder how many fix it tickets before they give a fine? |
