Are you sure? I just went through and checked every single dyno, and all of them fall off before 7000RPM, even yours. That's not what pulling timing looks like man.

I am 100% sure my redline is 7k, unless my tach is lying.

My point is that I didn't care that he lifted early, since it already had pulled timing(~6100rpm).

here is what I came up with using the "Disa dip matching" techniques

This is a comparison of the whp curve & slopes, NOT the actual whp power levels

WARNING- this is a BAD Comparison - this doesnt mean A or B is better, just made for TheAXiom

Justpete showed on Dyno dynamics, while Stig's is a Dynojet
I didnt do TQ comparisons inthe past, i didnt do it here either :S However it is possible to notice Evolve may have less TQ at 3.7-4.2k rpm based on the slopes after the dips

I agree, I did it because he asked twice

Some tunes can only be used if the Emission test standards accept certain scenarios

To be honest the only way this can possibly be settled is if we all East cost/Mid west ish 128i gather and do a Dyno. We are all generally 5-8 hours away from a "mid point" some where south of the Great Lakes

Some where near the Great lakes, fill up at the same pump, oil change maybe and Dyno

a website http://www.geomidpoint.com/meet/ gave me these coordinates
Latitude: 41.1034093 Longitude: -80.8874027
Look like Yougstown, Ohio
Near the home of the - Mustang Dynamometer
Twinsburg, OH

I might do one at some point on a mustang dyno, just to screw up comparisons.

Better still would be a set of pulls side by side. 631twentyeighyeye does have an open access runway near him...

Can someone give me an answer why ALL cars drop off at 6800 RPM?

All cars don't drop off at 6800 rpm. The S65 in the M3 is pretty happy all the way up to 9k rpm. There are a lot of things that can cause the drop off though. The car pulling timing as Stig mentioned is definitely one of them. Besides that it falls into engine design. An engine is an air pump. The faster it revs the more air it moves. At a certain speed a restriction will be found where either the engine can't take in air fast enough or it can't get rid of it fast enough. Things like headers help with this. However at some point you run into the maximum that the design of the head and the intake manifold can handle. For many cars this is under 7k rpm. This is probably due to the fact that the majority of engines are designed for street drivabillity. Thus top end flow is sacrificed for low end torque.

You guys understand that I'm specifically asking about the N52 and it's 20whp drop at "redline."
