HELP! Ready to Order! But do '09 models have new iDRIVE???

I was just at a socal dealership test driving the 135i. I am absolutely SOLD!

anyways, the dealers don't know for SURE if the new 135i have the new iDrive system. SO i wasn't ready to drop my security deposit.

Anyways, they were saying that it could be only for the European models.

Anyhow, can anyone be sure or confirm with me that the new 2009 135i' coupes WILL INEED have the new iDRive?!?!?

let me know, and please prove it to me so i can have my dealer confirm and double check.

But how come my dealers don't have this kind of information. They mentioned that some of their sales team received a similar training regarding the iDrive for 3-series and the course did not tell them that it would be offred in the 1 series.


Can ANY 2009 owners WHO've ordered a 1-series with navi iDrive CONFIRM that your dealer promised you, it will be the new second generation iDrive?!?!

The thread that Morgie led you to was posted by a dealership. There are BMW pdfs on this site that also state the 2009 1er gets the new iDrive.

i just order not only getting new idrive but hd radio is included no extra cost

any more confirmers? it seems like so far, it maybe be true for european models. i like to see if any orderers here, were told for sure their north american 128/135i would get it.

Umm i went two wks ago and the salesman put in the computer exactly what i wanted and gave me the price of the 09 135i and Idrive and everything i wanted so yes they do got idrive.
