Wow I was expecting a better game from Ukraine. In the European preliminaries they finished 1st in their group. They knocked out 3rd place finishers from the last world cup Turkey and 2002 participants Denmark.

saudi and tunisia was a good game. tunisia was up 1-0, lost the lead and then managed to tie. now its all about germany, cause they should win against poland with ballack back :rocks:

Well, now that every team has played once, I think that Germany looked the most impressive. I also give a nod to Spain, Portugal, and Italy.

I think out of all the teams that lost their opening match, Poland looked the best. So I'm excited for their match up with Germany. Even though Sweden ended in a disappointing tie, I still think they looked very strong.

I was so terribly disappointed with the United States. Everything looked like it was in slow motion while we were on the field. We need some drastic changes in order to even have a chance.

im was dissapointed in the way Iran played. Eight years after their last worldcup, and they lost in a stupid way. the goal they got hit with was the our goalies fault. but the third goal by mexico was good. Mexico played amazing. Iran had a good half. None of that matters now, Iran plays portugal on sat, so its pretty much over. GO ITALYYYY

Yeah, Germany is looking better than Poland, but neither are too impressive. Poland has a chance to shock!

I don`t know about Germany. Klinsmann was a mistake they should have convinced Voller to stay (i think Voller did a much better job with Germany). So what that they beat Costa Rica, anybody can beat Costa Rica. They are having a hard time against Poland. They are weak team. I'm really not impressed

yah it was scoreless till the final minute, but the games were playing sooooooooo fast and energetic from the first minute like they were playing an extra half or somthing!!!!!!!!

and we were on our nerves till the final minute (we were with germany), but couldnt believe they scored finally

its like what they call them (German machine), it doesnt has a good start (1st half was almost even between the 2 teams), but in the end the power of the machine shows (2nd half was germany's half only)

congrats 2 germany, 1st team that is officialy in the 2nd round

I only caught the second half of the German-Poland game and I was like wowow, 0-0 so far! Basically, Poland's defense was awesome (especially their goalie), but they didn't really have any attempts to score.
