Not a bad profit for what cost the original buyer probably 59 euros..
I had tried to go for this but couldnt contact the seller for US shipping, and thanks to Sandy I missed out on it

Jezzer, how about, realistically how much do you want?

Looks like there are four for sale on ebay.de

"BMW 1:43 1er M Coupe"

http://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?_trksi...at=0&_from=R40

http://www.ebay.de/itm/BMW-1-serie-1...#ht_500wt_1414
Sofort-Kaufen = buy right away, 150 euros.

Followed the sale of one over night on Ebay that sold for just over 200 Euro. I may have to move mine up a couple of shelves to make sure it remains out of reach from the kids if they're worth this much!

Frustrating not being able to grab one of these

They shouldve given owners the option to purchase one numbered to match their vehicle

I was wondering the same thing.... especially for those of us that haven't been as fortunate to come across even one of these. Whats that number 4?!

Take me to the Baby, Baby M Factory!

I went to a toy fair here in the UK and there they sat on the counter. Perhaps I was very lucky as the chap selling them didn't even know what they were hence the very low price I paid for them.

Wow, talk about quite the strike of luck!!! Thats pretty awesome. I think they went around 66E when they were being sold originally?

Kind of odd that someone at a toy fair wouldn't know they were rare. Hah

Yea, they were originally 59 euros when the dealers could get them. But my dealer told me that the one they ordered for me was darn hard to get! BMW Leipzig was selling the models for only 48 euros - but you had to be a BMW employee!

Supposedly only 2K models were made from the supplier in China.

They tend to concentrate and make shed loads on Ford and Porsche models, for some reason BMW models arent that sort after in the UK. Even picked up a CSL 1:18 for £30 and have seen these in Germany sell for over £100.

I think it has more to do with BMW licensing the "rights" to make a limited run or batch of models. I think BMW totally goofed on the 1M. In the flesh (live car)and the toy model!
