Nice bike! My dad had a 2004 BMW F650GS, until it tried to kill him. Now he has a 2013 Suzuki V-Strom DL650, and likes it much more...

My dad had one of these in the shed:

Bought it brand new. Not in the best condition and I've been tempted for year to get it back to roadworthiness. And I guess it's actually worth something now thanks to the cafe racer boys.
It's also the only motorcycle I've ever ridden on the street.

Right..?! Stay out of JO-Momma section on PUI Thursdays. I used to spend a lot of time in the F800GS section.... Been on plenty of ADVrider rallys in and around Norther CA, Nor Nev. UT, AZ, etc.

Bike pics

First few shots are... are me riding my GSXR-750 trackbike. Race built and ready to go. 140HP and a TON of fun. I co-owned a trackday company out of Reno NV with a couple of friends. Had a blast, did a couple of races - all around great time.

The Black F650GS is the YZ front end conversion. Fun bike off road. On road it was slow as can be but still fun to ride for a whopping 49 HP. HAHA!!

The older Capt. America bike on a ride near SF.
