I`d rather just paint the stock diffusor oem jetblack.
it costs 40$.
that`s what I did to my e46 mtechII diffusor and roof.
you`ll see no difference to the shadowline paintjob.

Yea I'm kinda whatever about it after the install. It does look somewhatever better than stock though. Maybe I'll get quad exhaust later and sell this thing

I've seen the BMW Performance Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser. This is the same part but made of plastic, which needs to be painted? Am I understanding this correctly? Looks good.

I would have been pissed off if the paint flaw was anywhere else, but it's not even noticeable at that location so I'm ok with it. I like it more now after a few days.

Looks good.

I should receive mine at the end of the week. *crossesfingers*
I also had a few other goodies painted in shadowline black. I will see how it looks on my car before giving out details.

I think it looks nice on AW. Would love to see it with the mesh in place of the insert

I took my stock diffuser to a local shop and had them paint it, to match the shadowline trim I had them leave the recessed part stock color . It cost me $100. and no paint imperfections!
