I personally think if you are going to be like everyone else why modify your car?
The true enthusiast modifies their car to be different.. unique.. different from everyone else.. so do what you want and enjoy it... there are always going to be haters out there.. if its not your wheels its your hair.. if you even have any lol.. if I could afford CCWs I'd do it lol.. |

I think CCW rims are pretty awesome but I hate the fact that our cars have such high offsets, that is why it is really difficult to make CCW's look good on our cars.

I actually don't have anything against the CCW's. I think they look really good on the the silver 1er up there. The red ones, I'm not such a fan of, but red wheels are something that you're just going to like or not.
One thing I always hear from the stance crowd on this site, though, is how unique and different they're being (again with the "true enthusiast" thing, give me a break). I mean, I get that you're after a certain look and I totally respect that - but I could Google literally hundreds of images of slammed cars with multi-piece forged wheels and (gasp!) roof racks - it's been done to death, just like everything else. Please stop being so self-satisfied and thinking you're pushing the envelope - you're just following a different scene. Carry on.

Where did I ever say I was pushing the scene? You seem to be making generalizations left and right based on me posting pictures of my car.
I never said my car was the be-all-end-all of 135s. I'm happy where it is and I wanted to share that. Yes, they're wide and yes they're red. I chose them because I liked the contrast on white and have always wanted CCWs on one of the cars I've owned. As luck would have it? The CCWs ended up on my BMW. People have also been tracking their BMWs for ages as well, so I'm still trying to see what point you're trying to make? Personally, I think you need to get laid. |

I think red is fine. If you drop that kind of cash on rims you may as well have them stand out in colors such as bronze, red, orange, etc.
You should get a front lip & carbon diffuser though to really set the car off. |
