Was it because no body wanted to drive that car after he had driven it? =)

Ooh, how does it feel? I've never had my hands on one of the performance ones. How does the blue compare to the lemans and interior stitching, too?

I forgot whether IEDEI ended up getting one of those IND-custom orange stripes or if he went blue or yellow.

Feels really nice and seems like it'll be pretty durable. It by no means feels 'delicate'. Blue doesn't even come close to the blue stitching but the contrast doesn't seem as apparent as the yellow (guess this could be good or bad depending on preference), but I like it. It'll actually match nicely with my Schroth Quick Fit harness which falls somewhere in between the 'is' blue stitching & the light blue stripe on the wheel. Harnesses are easily removable and will only be used for auto-x and track days.

(Not my car but should be identical)

I love that steering wheel is yours paddle shifter compatible or do you have a manual?
New steering wheel added to my list of wants after the performance suspension of course, Greg.

Thanks I'll most definitely buy a bottle. Do you apply with soft brush or microfiber towel? Is this the right one?

that's the one! A non-microfiber towel would be best (a little rougher to clean better) and just a soft toothbrush is good to remove particles and dust from it before cleaning it!

I actually like the flat bottom. I notice it a lot more than I thought I would've but whenever you turn the wheel I find myself grabbing the lower corner which is conveniently kinked.

Easy once you figure out how to undo the airbag clip. Despite watching the video and staring at the DIY pics it doesn't feel intiuitive. The sub freezing temps didn't help neither lol.

3002 tii How does the blue stripe at the top match with the blue contrast stitch? How is the stitching on the steering wheel colored (M colors? same as the blue stripe? the white bmw perf sitching like the ones on the amazing bmw perf seats)? Lastly, is it easier to get in the car now that the wheel is flat bottomed (I know it's not hard to get in the e82 at all but I'd like to know if the flat bottom is doing its job)?

EDIT: BTW, I really love the steering wheel hence why I am asking.

Can someone post a picture of their drivers intake going to their auxiliary cooler. I was looking at mine and:
1. It doesn't look like the parts that are there were installed properly.
2. They don't match what is on realoem.com for a ppk2.

I stand corrected. Your auxiliary radiator and plastic duct work looks exactly like mines. All is well.

Mine is definitely not installed right. I can see fitment issues that aren't obvious in the photo. In any event at least it looks like I have the right parts.

Anyone else with pics?
