Must have 135i options?
Hi all,
I'll be moving to AZ in a few weeks and plan to treat myself to a 135i early next year. I saw one live the other day and it looks even better in person. Very muscular and aggresive looking IMO. But, I'm looking for opinions on 135i options to help control the total cost. I know I won't need the cold weather package:wink: but what do you folks think about NAV? Is it really needed when you'll just be driving to enjoy the car? Right now, my options list is Met Paint, Sports Pkg, USB adapter and HD radio and that keeps price under 40K. Any major omissions in my list? TIA Bob |

I went with PP in addition to this list. I could care less about the leather, the power seats are nice (lumbar support was a key feature), I was going to get BMW assist anyway (bluetooth), and I guess the trim lights & dimming mirrors are nice, but they are certainly not essential. I wish you could pick and choose more discretely to be honest. I really wanted lumbar and BMW assist, and that was a good chunk of PP already, so I sprung for the rest. I went with metallic paint too (SGM), but just go with what you want there. I mainly went for SGM because it looked cool, and I think it will hide dirt fairly well. I think Spook's car is "normal" black, and it looked pretty sharp, so I'd spend the $500 elsewhere if you want to keep it under $40k. I might have gone with black too, but my current car is black so I wanted something different. |

I would pass on comfort access if you are going to get your windows tinted. Also would strongly recommend sitting in a leatherette car if you can find one (I imagine most if not all showroom cars would be leather).

I got
Sports pkg USB comfort access Sat radio HI-fi Hi def Leather leather I got because I just had to have the Terra Cotta color, the leathertte I understand wears better/last longer and looks just as nice. I didn't want BMW assist, but I would like Bluetooth, unfortunately not seperable. If I could do over I would drop the Hi-def and Comfort Access......... |
