Everything mates up properly. They are well made. Fog light grilles/holes are mounted to the structure of the bumper itself and if you don't put them in it will look like something is missing. I suppose you could cut the mounting points out of it before painting. No one to my knowledge has done that yet, I BELIEVE you would be the first!

OH I get you. No you don't have to install foglights. I was referencing the mesh that they fit into. There's a mounting bracket formed into the bumper that sits right behind that. Most folks with the 135i installed the bumper with mesh and no fogs, most folks with 128i installed the bumper with mesh and fogs. No one from what I have seen yet has installed the bumper without the mesh/fog mounts. That's what I'd love to see, nice clean brake ducting!

Forgot to ask, how do you know everything lines up properly? Have you seen one in person or do you have one? Just curious.

Seen one in person. It looks like the chinese mfgr got their hands on a Kerscher 1M bumper and made the ABS mold for it. Looked identical to me when I got close, other than the grilles of course. Really good copy.

Bumper is perfect but Ive had nothing but trouble with these fog lights taking in water. Please explain better what you are talking about. I mounted the oem fog lights to the mounts built into bumper but they sit a few inches recessed from the opening holes in the mesh. Is there an option to cover those fog holes in bumper mesh? or get a mesh insert without fog holes?

No, there aren't any alternate mesh options that I've seen and that's been the biggest reason I haven't gotten this bumper personally. Looked to me like the fog mounts could be cut out and remove the mesh entirely though.

What do you do with the headlight washers if the 1M bumper rep covers them?

Code them off, all they do is blast windshield washer fluid all over your car anyways.

The bumper looks too large in comparison with the rest of the lines on the car.

I have the one from turner on mine. Took the shop little time to do minor underbelly/fender modifications. I'd say it fits very nicely and doesn't look out of place. This is by far my favorite thing about my car.
