E91 OEM sunshades installed

So I finally got my sunshades for the back windows of my E91:

http://img112.imageshack.us/img112/5...schutz21wl.jpg
http://img290.imageshack.us/img290/8...schutz35tb.jpg

I already got the manual shades in the passenger back doors, so now it's like having tinted windows - but removable!

Part No. (if anyone's interested)

51 40 0 406 863 (rear window)
51 40 0 406 864 (back door windows)
51 40 0 406 865 (back side windows)

They all come in nice little baggies to keep them tidy in the winter:

How do you like it? Do they make them for front occupant and driver? Cannot tell from the photo, does the shade prevent you from rolling down the window?

You can't get them for driver/passenger side window, as its forbidden to tint/shade those windows here in Germany.

You can get them for the back door windows (I guess you could still roll down the window with those installed), the side windows in the back and the rear window...

I really like the shades! It makes the car a lot cooler in summer, I didn't want the OEM tinted windows, so this is a perfect alternative for me!

These are the shades for the E91 only... the E90 has different Windows.

The sets cost 99 Euro each (approx. 125 US$)

I was thinking the same thing since they are not availalbe in NA.

May in a "special order" you could get them, but if you are already paying for the special order, maybe you can get BMW to install the factory tinited windows.

H.Solo, Where did you order these? Can I go to my BMW dealer in the US and have them order these or do I need to contact someone else to get these? Thanks very much! Looks very nice. How's the visibility? Can you still see out when you're changing lanes or at night?

CircleBMW has em on their website. Looks like the e90 only as the sides not the rear.

Hi,

can you still open the windows while these blinds are fitted?
where can you buy them apart from BMW dealers?

Are there any roller blinds for rear windows?

thanks
