What loaner would we get?

Now, what loaner car do u guys think the dealers will give us when we take our cars in for all these "bugs" that people are talking about? Maybe a 6 series?
The golden gate BMW car club needs 20 volunteers to drive a fleet of bimmers to modesto, I signed up already. They said its first come first serve, so if I get there earlier I will get to pick which car I want to drive, the 6 series hopefully.

Damn, they couldn't even fit a Mini Cooper engine in there! Must be a John Deere 1200cc engine.

How could a dealership for a brand of BMW's caliber not offer loaner cars? Is that a joke? Even Ford offers loaner cars!

I get a loaner car for my 11 year old Integra when doing any major service!

Supply and demand.

There is probably nowhere in America that has more BMW's on the street than Westside Los Angeles. People line up in droves to get 'em in Santa Monica, and they can afford to not offer decent service (or a decent sales staff).

I believe Santa Monica BMW to truly be a substandard dealership. There are no deals there. They won't give the standard BMWCCA discount on parts and accessories. One of the salesmen spewed a bunch of anti-semitic comments in the presence of me and my wife, thinking we would agree with him. Even though I am one mile away from that dealership in Santa Monica, I am going to Beverly Hills BMW to get my car tomorrow. Believe it or not, they are far more attentive there.
