Updates:
1. 4k will be offered one of two ways, either you can wait for it to come in when we place the next order next month (Feb) or you can get them now for an additional charge (about $15 more to expedite). 2. To run the DRLs as daytime running lights or DRLs, an additional resistor as well as a relay need to be run. We can provide instructions on how to do so once a Socal customer chooses to do so, however, if you are not familiar with wiring and the like, it is suggested not to do so since the resistors get extremely hot and could cause melting if not mounted in a safe spot. Again, if you would like more information, please feel free to pm me. 3. There was a problem with our depo supplier, so we are rectifying the situation now. Should have it cleared up very soon. Thanks for your patience guys. -Sam |

When will purchase open up?
I should be buying these soon so I can post up pictures of before and after if you would like. I may not be getting the DRLs though. Not 100% sure yet. Last edited by Satalite; 01-24-2011 at 06:12 PM.. |

Internal wiring wasn't discussed until we decided to do this group buy. However, I can guarantee that you won't have to deal with a bunch of wires, unless we run into a major problem, it should just plug into the stock connectors. Also, since you are local, you can see them in person once they are ready if you would like before you decide to purchase them. Depos should be shipped out to us by friday (x fingers)

Anyone local getting this done? I want to purchase with the DRLs, but I feel like it would be a lot of work and turn into a mess and not end up working correctly... how extensive of a project is it for someone with no skills with headlight wiring to install the DRLs (1-10 being hardest)?

If you have "no skills with headlight wiring" its best to either have a professional do it, or just get the "standard version" like mine. You don't want to messing around with wires you are not sure about, especially with resistors to run the DRLs get super hot and if not placed correctly could melt, burn the surroundings etc if not wired properly.....

Can I safely assume that most people would like the "white" option for the LEDs? Also could I get a show of hands of those that would like to get these with that option, just so we can get the rings started (its easier to get them done in a group than all together.)
Pm me for any orders/ questions. -Sam |

Warm white referring to LEDs that look more like traditional tungsten bulbs. Judging by your answer, I'm assuming these are more of a true white.
