Since your car's looks are so complete I really think you should consider doing the "Dan Parker" mod, covering the tiny painted part under the air curtains with an overlay/tape etc. It catches my eye more in your car because of the front spoiler you have I guess

Here is Dan Parker points and side creases covered with Lightweight Titanauspuffanlagen product overlay on my car:

Thanks mate, not sure I will do much more now on the external 'looks' front, plan was always to maintain an oem factory look, and I feel anymore will start detouring from the initial plan, but I will have a look at Dan's thread.

Next is to look at the interior a little more and go from there

I have had H&S full systems on my Impreza and Impreza P1, so know their quality is very good.

I'll give Ian a call and see what he says.

Who did you roof wrap BTW?... Looks very good. Had it on the list to do the same. Always liked that look after I had my M3 CSL. May go for the carbon look and try and match the OEM boot spoiler.
So you are all to familiar with H&S as you would being a scooby owner . Ian could make up the mids no worries so worth a chat.

As for the roof, it is the 10yr Hexis cast vinyl and the side runners and sharkfin I had painted in a matching gloss black, easy enough to put back to standard if needed. Shame the carbon wraps are a matt finish, but then you could have the carbon mirrors and rear boot spoiler re lacquered in a matt or satin finish to match.

Looking good. Barker can certainly pedal a car. What did he think and say about it?

Bit to soft in comfort setting and sports plus was much more track focused for UK roads, but then sports + is a track setting. He liked the concept of the DDC and is a fan of the 1M but he didn't have time to adjust the suspension to his specifics on the app which allows full front and rear and 5 additional custom settings.

I only use the 5 custom and make changes to settings dependent on the trip / driving I have planned.

We are still coordinating plans. We are aiming to have 80-90% planning completion by latter part of June.

In the meantime, we have an awesome weekend trip coming up very soon. Lots of photos and videos to come!

Stunning shots! Wall-paper quality. I wonder if there are still many people around "enthusiast" circles who thinks in the lines of "1M is kind of cool other than it's looks", this is one of the best looking BMWs ever without being (or should I say without needing to be) "pretty" or "elegant". It's easily an eye magnet.

Aussie I also have a tiny suggestion: after looking a lot at your pictures the car really looks so complete and done but one thing I would do if it was my car; try the "silver" OEM type turn indicator bulbs for your headlights, a very easy and cheap mod which will complete your headlights perfectly. You can do it yourself and buy it from anywhere or ask the dealer if the car will visit for any reason, unwanted orange reflections inside the cluster will just go away.

Your car has always been my favourite AW 1M.

Aussie, that combination of the car and photography/background is amazing...

Some of the best 1M shots I've seen. Congrats.

Thanks mate,

Actually I have fitted silvertec indicator bulbs to a number of my previous cars and have been meaning to do the same with the 1M but just keep forgetting, so thanks for the reminder

Thanks mate, interestingly, Khalid actually specialises in portraits and Indian/Asian weddings, plus corporate video, but as an ex e46 M3 owner and car enthusiast he likes to play around with auto shots for fun and expand his portfolio. He has done a great job in that...

Definitely. If he is based in the London area, I may drop him a line to see if he's interested in some extra auto work!

Although my 1M doesn't have the same degree of awesomeness [to quote Kung Fu Panda] as yours!!
