128i 17" Sports Wheels

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a set of winter wheels for my 2008 135i and found a set of BMW 17" Sport wheels for an 128i for sale. Due to winter set up, I would like to get the same foot print on the ground and have the ability to rotate the tires.

With the staggered set up of the 17" Sports Wheels, 17X7 & 17X7.5. What are the implications of running 205/50R17 or 225/45R17 all the way around and rotating them? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You really SHOULD NOT rotate staggered wheels.
There are a ton of cheap alternative solutions for winter wheels out there. I'm interested in hearing other's opinions.

I use a non-staggared set of 17" wheels for winter tires with 225/45 17.
