Will style 197's fit on a 1er?

I've searched everywhere on the 'net to even find some pics of style 197 - they're hard to come by! IMO the most beautiful wheel BMW has made since the contours.
Just not sure about the offset - couldn't even find these on bmwusa.com

Here's an ad for a set - best pics I could find.

edit - here's a better link- http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...49&hg=36&fg=15

Offset=37 on the 8-1/2s, 34 on the 8's. So they would probably stick out a bit, just taking a guess.

I hope it does, i want these for my 135i. But if these weights more than the CSL reps then i'll stick with CSLs. It's still up in the air for me. Good luck finding them.

Feyd gave the correct answer. 1/2" wider front wheel, and more than 1/2" different offset. Add the two together, since they both would push the wheel out more, and I don't think they will work.

if these are the wheels that come stock on the E92 328i, then yes, they will fit. i wouldn't go with 225 and 255. 215 and 245 would be better. the fronts stick out a little, but it's doable.

i've tried these on my 135i

Garage List
I agree, they are very attractive wheels, nicer than the 335i sport wheels IMHO

They should be fine with 245's on the rear and 215's on the front:
