My 135i @ the 1/4 Mile

Folks,

Last evening I put my car to the test on the 1/4 mile at Cayuga Raceway. The car was in complete street trim in my daily driver setup running on 94 Octane Pump gas. Needless to say, it was an extremely successful day.

Enjoy!

This is why I love these cars, complete every day street trim, easy launch, and great 1/4 mile time and mph.

Hehe, I am pretty much done with mods for now. I may try to push 11s by getting some drag radials and race gas. The only thing that is holding me back right now is my launch. I just smoke the tires if I dont't feather the gas well.

The third time slip was me racing against a jacked up Charger. I put the hurt on him and I thought the guy was going to try and punch me out. He was really pissed off and could not believe the results. That was pure joy! (pun intended)

It looks like you waited for the green light before you launched. Try going on the 3rd yellow. Even with deep staging you wont trip the sensors until the light is green. Other than that, great job and nice nid!

good stuff irish.

I was going to head out but wasnt done working on my firends car way to late. (complete s/c install on a stock car in 16 hours).

Awesome times. Like others said reaction times a bit slow and work on those 60 for times. I pulled a 1.6 with a fwd drive car on balding all seasons. I think every tenth saved in the 60 equates to a 2 tenth saving on the et.

Good times none the less.

P.s. those tires fit without rolling or pulling fenders?

Yep, I need to learn how to launch, practice will make for better performance. I will let you know when we go next, would love to see you there!

Street trim meaning, this is my daily driver setup. I did not take out seats I did not add race fuel I did notihng special other then roll up in my car and hit the strip.

13.4 on runflats and low map tune only is an amazing time. You were > 90% of the cars there. Lets do it again!

Are you 6at or 6mt? If 6mt what RPMs are you launching at and how? (feather or dump)

6mt was launching between 2 and 2.5k and i tried to feather as much as possible but its hard not to just stomp on it with the adrenalin rush. hopefully will get better at it next time around.
irish for sure we should set something up and go in a bigger group this time
