hahaha ok Izzo, i def understand where your coming from. CF for weight on street driven cars is a waste and too showy for me. Now cf on lambos, FI Ferraris and so on is HOT. But i hate when i see a Civic DX decked out with cf mirrors and a soda can exhaust! but a nicely appointed white S2000 with cf roof and hood is .
anyway i would take a straight 6 or the N54 over the vetcs any day. but after driving the last gen integra type-r its hard to stay away from the vtec and its modding potential. |

Some logical statements and questions i have for you based on your statements (and because i'm losing my mind trying to quit smoking cigs): I am extremely disappointed with you... I enjoyed your BBq skills until now... If it comes stock then you really have no choice....to do it:smile: What makes a white and black panda retarded?:iono: Will the performance wheel actually serve more of a purpose than the carbon fiber additions? Better turning radius maybe:iono: Your opinion is :bs:and thats my opinion and If you decide to buy any performance parts you will purchase them through me:thumbup: sorry looking for 100 posts and bored

haha^ but you cant act like the "ricer" thing is all bad. why do you think companies like hpa (565hp audi tt) are able to make it. cause tuning and moding is popular and the bulk of that industry is aem intakes for civic ex's etc.. Just mo

we need an affordable and quality but tasteful diffuser and splitters
also I think BMW and other makers need to start introducing cf concepts, whole cars made of as much cf as possible to cut the weight down, especially in their new "green" or "clean" cars.... imagine if BMW introduced a 2500lb 335d with an upgraded engine putting out over 300 hp and 500 ft-lbs I can see BMW now calling it "carbon dynamics" or some other cliche using the word dynamics, would be pretty awesome though

carbon fiber will always cause arguments.
we all see it differently: a) some want the look! b) some prefer the weight savings c) some use the look with the excuse of it being for functional weight savings d) some use CF in a way that actually adds weight (covers, overlays, etc) e) others extract every single ounce possible to be quicker f) others again get obsessed with combining the weight benefits with needing to balance out the use of CF aesthetically (ex. front valance & rear lip spoiler) even others look at the material as exotic & difficult to get ahold of, as it once was. they feel their car is of the same stature, so certainly these materials would enhance the overall feel of ones car. whatever the thought, CF is here to stay! & if you desire to the bavaria dance then give us a call. we will be updating continuously, but for now we get the mirror covers and diffusers for the E82. if you have an E92 as well, those products have been developed for quite some time now & are more plentiful as of late |

Whats that saying, "functionality follows form" IMO i dont mind looking at carbon fiber, but I can definitely see how it can be overdone. I my car i have some carbon fiber (not too much) but my car is SGM, so its real subtle, which is nice. What i think a lot of people are simply tired of seeing is sorry ass attempts at creating often time cheezy racecars, yet if you have a BMW you obviously understand that this marque is all about serious driving, and i dont see how carbon fiber negates this philosophy. Honestly if i had more money to spend i would be getting more carbon fiber pieces, but as long as you keep it classy, I see no harm, remember, you are changing a 35k+ car, so do it in mind that this car should be at higher standards than a 92 honda

The only thing I want CF is the hood. I haven't bought one yet, because I haven't found one that I like. That one by Seibon has those grills/slits in it that I don't like. I want a stock looking hood that's CF.
As far as CF looking ricey; I think it's worse when you see those cars with owners who can't afford CF, so they get some flat black paint and paint their hood. Now that's f'ing ricey!
