I have to send my pedals back my registered post to get a refund. The seller has not replied to any of my messages. I'll be out of pocket for the postage and the waste of time. Not sure if I should try ordering another set from them when I get my money back.

But you won't be happy until you have a set installed now =) These sets seemed to be the cheapest available, and until your experience had been a pretty decent product. May be worth checking out the more expensive alternatives. There are other sets available circa $60-80 (~double) which may be more reliable, but I can't vouch for those sets either. |

Hey guys, what drill bit size you guys used to drill them? 7/64 all the way? Also, the screws behind the gas pedal wont interfere with WOT? Thanks

I used 1/8 for all the holes. I had to cut one bolt with a dremel tool so I would not interfere with WOT. I found the hardest part of the installation was removing and reinstalling the gas pedal. There is only one bolt and it is easy, the hard part is the electrical connector and the slide on connector for the pedal assembly. I needed to take the pedal off to get to the nuts on the bottom bolts. Once it was out of the car, cutting the little bolt was a piece of cake.

Hi JimD, thank you so much for the info. Used the 1/8 for all holes and voila! Like you mentioned, the bolt for the top right corner on the gas pedal was too long, therefore I had to trim it a bit. I also removed the pedal for easy drilling, didn't have much trouble with the gas pedal connectors, but re-assembling was a PITA!

My contribution to the community, here are the pics:
My only complaint is that the curvature on the aluminum clutch/brake pads did not match the pedals, the pads were less curvy. Not sure if this is just the way they are or if they came defective? Other than that, these are great pedals for the price, thanks! Uploaded with ImageShack.us

True this, as the lower end of the brake and clutch pedals are too narrow, allowing for only one centre screw. I am having to drill a new hole into these pedals. Will fill those 2 on either side with screws so they're not noticeable. Weird that the RHD model would have a different shape for these pedals!

I've ordered these from J Levi Streetwerks @ $100 a pop... no footrest but then the Perf. range doesn't either. I wanted something a little different to std aluminium as I had that previously on the GTI (came std with the car). They didn't sell the footrest for RHD vehicles anyway. Will pop some pics when they're installed. Brand is 'Autocarbon' BTW - I've also ordered their CF mirror covers (have a set now but one is cracked)
