I had the V3's on for about a month before I installed the M3 parts, so the results in the M3 parts section is for the M3 parts only. With the stock suspension I'm sure you will still experience a lot of the benefits that I'm seeing.

Just ordered the M3 tension rods + Hotchkis front sway bar.

Should I have it aligned after?

sway bar only - no. Any rods, wishbones, etc - yes. I dare you to drive very far without an alignment.

Not sure what you are talking about. I didn't have any small alarm system of any kind. Maybe it's an option you got?

This device for Canadian 135i detect if the car if lifted. If the car alam is armed and this small security device that is attached the the wishbone is moved the you can hear the siren i beleive.
I will have you a picture soon, i have to remove the front driver wheel.
i beleive i can uninstall this if i change for the M3 wishbone.
other question : is it realy better to add the tension Rod if i only want Camber ? How does the tention rod can reach the longer M3 wishbone ?
thank's

tank's
If you only want camber, no you don't need to add the tension rods. But if you want your steering to be more precise and stiff, you absolutely need it. The bushings are much stiffer on the m3 parts.

This is a most interesting and informative series of threads (replacing 135i with M3 parts) but I have a question: If more responsive steering and less compliant suspension movement is the aim, why not just replace the stock bushings with their M counterparts instead of going to the expense of buying upper and lower suspension bits for both ends of the car? Do the stiffer bushings not fit the factory 135i components? (Sorry, two questions).

If this has been answered earlier in another thread, my apologies.

Because BMW sells the M3 bushings only with the arms attached.

Excuse me, I'd like to know if someone has replaced just the oem wishbones with the M3 wishbones.

I want to do that, but the question is: if my only aim is to gain negative camber, is it worth it?

Someone said to me: With a McPherson suspension, if you do not replace also the tension rods, you will have toe-in and if you put toe-out you will lose the negative camber you've gained with the M3 wishbones. Is this right?

Thank you

No. Changing the toe won't change the camber. The M3 wishbones will give you more camber on the 1 series. You will then need to reset the toe after you install them to get the toe set correctly with the increased negative camber.
