2013 135i Coupe

Lovely comfortable car, nice balance between comfort and performance.
Installed a sprint booster as I felt PPK didn't deliver enough throttle response as I would like. With PPK power is now just right for a daily.

Replacing RFT when they wear. I feel the power is just manageable for the street, fun to drive without thinking too much about what your doing, how do you guys manage high boost on the street.

That's my point, too much foot feathering not enough freedom = not much street fun...
Anyhow each to their own.

Car looks great, and I'm not biased as a former titanium silver 135i owner. =)

I just noticed though, you guys get park distance control for the front, too? In the US, only rear is available.

Very nice mate, just picked up my new 135i this week, apart from the colour and yours being manual the options look the same.

I never ordered parking sensors at the front, rear sensors come standard in OZ.

Weird. Never seen the parking sensors/circles on the front bumper of a 135 before, that's all. Hmm. Then again, I got free comfort access. With what they charge for things (especially in Australia), gotta take any freebies we can get!

It somewhat confused me that you have put in a sprint booster and complaining about foot feathering. Also, we have already told you before that a sprint booster do nothing but make the pedal more sensitive to inputs and doesn't increase throttle response as such.

Anyway, once you got to non-RFT it would be better, and may be consider suspension upgrade (especially the Ohlins) should improve the ride as well as make you able to put down that power.

Also, be warned that TIMYOYO is dangerous if you don't like feathering throttle, so the middle settings is what we tend to drive in (DTC).

The main reason I went with SB was the ease of rev matching. I've been spoiled with Porsches electronic blip enhancer on my CaymanS. SB helps a bit in this department, if I owned a DTC I wouldn't bother, in fact I believe DTC does the rev matching for you on down shifts? Correct me if I'm wrong.

DTC stands for dynamic traction control. It is a TC mode on our vehicles which allows forward slip and limited side slip as opposed to DSC, dynamic stability control, which comes down hard like an anvil anytime you have the slightest amount of slip.

I think you're confusing DTC with DCT.

It's not what Sparoz was talking about.

Yes The same as PDK and DSG, my bad. Ah DTC is what I mostly drive in, I soon figured this out. I find without it a little yellow light flickers on the dash. I don't completely turn it off.
