Some people asked about the slightly deformed box edge. All of the parts came double boxed and heavily wrapped in bubble wrap and other packaging. Both the hood and trunk had wooden blocks bolted into their mounting points to protect their edges and many parts had foam blocks wedged onto them as well.

Revozport mailed the packages on May 1st, and I had everything in my possession half way around the globe by Middle of day May 3rd.

I unboxed a few more parts. The CF hood is really nice. Its almost a shame it will be painted Alpine White.



It came with factory installed Aero Catches. These things are a pain to align and install and I am glad it is already taken care of.


Double Sided Trunk - This trunk is an OEM Style Trunk. I will be painting the entire thing alpine white and attaching the lip spoiler to it. When finished, you will only know the trunk is double sided CF by its weight and the CF I will leave exposed inside.





Here is the ground effect panel for the diffuser. I didnt previous picture it. It is a very solid piece. It is rather thick and solid. From looking at the Revozport catalogue, I sort of assumed it was a thin piece of CF, but it is actually a very ridged hollow CF panel.

I'd HAVE to show the carbon fiber off if it was me! especially with AW. But the stealthy OEM+ looks is awesome too.. regardless it'll look wonderful.

Small Update:
ill be installing the diffuser and Hood today and taking the car to paint early this week. I got confirmation from Stoptech my brakes shipped yesterday and will arrive tuesday. Performance Technic will be installing the stoptechs and performing some basic maintenance on the car Friday. Big thanks to AST, Revozport, Stoptech and Performance Technic for getting everything rolling in time for Bimmerfest.

I'm tempted but I will be getting it painted. Although my car will feature a lot of the same Revozport parts as Einser M's build, my car will be quite the opposite. His is exposed gloss CF, and I will be satin CF w/ paint. They will compliment each other well.

I remember when revoz first released their 1M product information with only sketches and renders. I am always a bit skeptical before I can see any hard products from any company. When Revoz teamed up and did the CP-E Car and later Einser M's car I was sold. Revozport is TUV approved and ISO 9001 Certified, which basically means they were externally audited and approved based on their products, quality control and management. I believe they were the first Asian Carbon Fiber company to meet these standards. They are a great company to deal with. The stuff cleared customs so quickly. Instead of doing the customs brokering myself, I hired a customs broker for $150 and they pushed the entire lot through customs on the spot.

I did some test fitting today. I am pleasantly surprised at how easy the hood and trunk went on. The hood and trunk will be painted and professionally fitted. I just wanted to test them myself before I send the car out for paint.

To each their own but I would leave some outlines of cf on the outside. It would bring a pop of contrast and pure sexiness.

Won't tackle the heavy piece (quarters) until August. Until then I'm slowly accumulating the parts and tools.

Seeing pictures of these insane builds is definitely getting me amped up

Like five people have told me not to paint the CF. The diffuser, lip and inside of the trunk will be CF. I have to paint the rest. For maintenance reasons too. Matte CF cannot be waxed. You wash it with soap and water and special matte care products.... I dont really want to deal with. Its going to look very nice painted white. I have already booked the body shop time. DTM, who painted pretty much everything else on the car, will be doing the hood and trunk and mounting the lip. I am only holding off on the lip because I want it to be mint before Bimmerfest. Living in SF, i know the lip will have a limited lifespan.
