Shim, is there some sort of plausible deniability going on here? Are you really an admin?

Ok, I read the other thead and I have never laughed out loud so much.
Who really cares. Some of us here need to grow up. And as far as coupe, I would have called that guy alot more than that. I work for an Insurance company, and I'm not sure about the laws in Jersey but in NY they cannot tell you where to have your car fixed. It's your car dude. You do what you want and take the Car wash to court if they won't give you their garagekeepers insurance carier. And also, that cover can be repaired and if it is done correctly, will have no problems. Take it to a respectable shop. Not some hacker. My 2 cents and take it as you will.

Hi shim, the 'F U all ' thread was promptly deleted by the forum administrators probably before you checked the forum. Loaded with vulgarities.

I conside the choice of "GD Mexican" to have been poor and a racially biased statement. I was irritated by it, even though (like >40% of this forum) I am Asian. The defense didn't help. One racially biased statement, however, does not make someone a bigot. Perhaps the FU thread reveals more, but I missed it. While I do feel that political correctness is an overgrown expectation, I respectfully disagree with the concept that everyone who was irritated by the reference should just "chill out".
Litmus test: If Coupe was able to yell at the attendant (as I would have) without using racial references, I doubt he's a bigot. Bigots just can't resist the temptation to cuss out a minority using racial teminology when wronged. Personally I would have called the car wash attendant a moron. This tends not to offend people on this forum because no one think's that they're a GD moron*, even if they are. Too bad about the car. Man WTF! The dealer should have washed it. After all, they made the referral. Given the conspiracy of incompetence, however, they probably would have added swirls to the injury. Much as I dislike lawyers, I would get one. *Careful not to misstype, though , as this could offend lots of people in Utah. |

Im BAck! Anyways to let everyone who didn't have the chance to read my FU thread. I was upset at a certain few people including administrators because they were not allowing me voice my rebuttal of their comments. This forum has a few people on it that wake up everyday, realize they have no excitement in their lives and decide to start fights on a forum. Tell you the truth half the people who said I was wrong about stating "GD Mexican" would probably never approach someone about it if they were right in front of them. For the most part I believe they ruin a great forum for their little bickering needs.

coupedupcivic,
I certainly can understand your anger and frustration with the damage to your car and the individual who damaged your car. Sometimes when we are most frustrated we say things that we may regret or sometimes we do not see or understand we have offended someone. If the phrase (which I shall not repeat) offends one person, then the best course of action in human relations is to say. "I am sorry, if I offended anyone". Then if you wish, you can have all the rational for how what you said did not offend anyone and how you would say a similar phrase to any other racial, cultural or ethnic group. But, the most importantly, you cannot determine if your communication style has offended me. That is my prerogative. Having, had to work on both sides of situations where a person is accused of offending someone and a party feeling they were offended by racial, cultural or ethnic comments, the argument is not won by continued denial that someone was not offended. Sometimes the comments offend more than the targeted group. Hopefully, we can be more sensitive to others on the forum. Now, let's move on to enjoy or E90s and share all the good things that are shared on the forum! Hunt55 |

It is probably best to just let it all go and not try and rehash it for the people that missed it.
