Personally, I'd prefer the 135is (or just a standard 135i) over the M235i or the M240i. Drove them both and they didn't thrill me.

The M2 I'd probably feel different about but haven't driven one yet so can't say for sure.

Your 135is looks very nice btw. GLWS!

Agree, the M235/240 has numb electric steering. I was not impressed with the road feel or lack thereof. Size of the 1 series was perfect. It is a shame BMW has went the direction of overpriced 4 bangers, 3/36 warranty with brakes not covered under maintenance and electric steering. It is clear they want to lease out these cars then CPO them for maximum profit.

The only cars worth purchasing now are the M's (still hydraulic steering) which are grossly overpriced. This is my last BMW unless they start catering to enthusiasts again.

I drive your (ragtop) twin. Awesome exterior/interior color combination for anyone considering this...

You haven’t taken it Carmax or the local bmw dealer yet? I’m sure you’ll get the asking price now.

I haven't yet. Past history with Carmax has been nothing but low-ball offers. I do have someone local that's interested so waiting to see how that goes first.

Since the CPO warranty is only transferable from private party to private party per BMW rules, dealerships like carmax will never be able to offer full value on a CPO car. I know this very well as I am selling my CPO 135i currently too.

Very true! The warranty is worth an extra $1500 - $2000 to a private party and zero to a dealership.
