Since I mentioned Stratus Grey in the steel blue thread, I'd have to go for that with Silver Grey as a second choice.

Stressdoc, by metallic silver are you thinking of Individual Moonstone? (I've never seen a real example but it looks like it would be beautiful.)

Does anyone remember Aspen Silver Metallic (BMW 339)? That is one of my all-time favorites. My good friend had a '97 E39 528i in Aspen Silver w/ Aubergine interior. One of the best looking combos in a car I have ever seen. Haven't seen that color in a long time. It was a darker, kind of gray silver metallic, and I haven't seen it in production for several years.

I also like Carbon Black and Cosmosblau.

You'll never see those colors on the list as standard catalogue items.

The yellows, purples, oranges and such are all reserved for M cars, to keep them exclusive. Alpina Blue is reserved for Alpina. Interlagos... hell, that was so special, it only came on the special edition of the special car.

At BMW San Francisco, I once saw an E36 325 in a color called "RomanticRot" which translates to the gay-ass name "Romantic Red" but it was a beautiful redish burgandy color with a bit of purple thrown in.

I voted for a silver-grey but would actually be upset if they came out with one I liked better than my SG.

Nope, but I wish I did... that looks very similar to my Lapis Blue. Which, despite it being a pain to clean, is the most wonderful colour I have ever seen
