Have to order 1m from local dealer???

I was in the process of finalizing the purchase of a new 1M a few states away and the dealership just told me BMWNA told them they cannot make the sale outside of their district? is this true?

BS...when I was looking around I called multiple dealers in surrounding states and they all were willing to do business.

I doubt this is what BMWNA mandated, it sounds like the dealer would just rather have the car sold locally for whatever reason.

FWIW my local dealer told me the same thing, that they'd rather sell to someone local vs someone out of state. I also called multiple out of state dealers and they were all willing to do a sale
