Exclamation Not to early for snows

So I've made my appointment to drive up to CT and get My BMW endorsed Eagle Run Flat snows ( JGW U's or something??) tires tomorrow. This morning There's snow on the mountain. Why drive sixty miles away? Couldn't find a dealer here with them available. I know there are other options as far as tires go, thanks mostly to the folks in this forum. Call me crazy but I'm sticking with the BMW recommendation on this one
........ MY POINT
If you're thinking you're gonna need em now's the time. Feel a little bit grounded today at least until it warms up a bit. I'm sure the roads below are fine. Find out soon enough!!!

Finally putting my winters on tomorrow. Didn't buy runflats so I got a BMW mobility kit from United BMW. Luckily it hasn't snowed yet, but I know better than to drive in the snow with summers on. Even so the summer tires hate the cold and get real hard. I have a feeling I'm gonna enjoy my Dunlops. Bought em from tire rack. Oh where in CT did you get your tires from? Funny how it has been 50 out the past few days! Gonna get cold this coming weekend.

I typically put mine on at the beginning of November. This year, I actually put them on in October, because I was moving at the beginning of November and didn't want to forget.

They seem to be the only folks that have them.. their service center is in Port Chester. It's where I bought my 128. Also the only ones that could find me a 6 speed in September. Everyone elsr wanted to order me an 09

I put my snows on 11/22 and have no regrets... Already had to drive in some ice/slush last weekend around Hartford/Waterbury.. Went with 17" Dunlops on dedicated rims from Tire Rack with a continental mobility kit..
