Pull straight up. That is how you remove the 6 series one that is eerily similar to the one in your car.

Yeah, that thing comes off. There are pics on here with it removed. Maybe pop off the cap in the middle?

Make a thread on how you did that V1 hardwire. I'm interested in doing this when I get my car.

I've got the same combo coming across the Atlantic now...thanks for sneak preview. Will you use a "switched circuit or non-switched" for the detector? On my MINI I hardwired to a switched (using the heated seats fuse).

I didn't hook it up to the fuse box yet, I'm probably going to wait till friday to tackle it, since I have a three day weekend coming up.

I was just up at the in-laws in Lincoln University, PA. My wife grew up in various areas of PA and I told her about Haverford and she knew where that was. I was happy to talk about the car! Some of your video looks a lot like the back roads my in-laws have around them!

If you don't mind, how much did you pay for the x-pel clear bra?

Impossible. You bought a 135i after all. Sometimes your leather looks more orange than red. Which one is it in real life? Sedona Coral?

Seriously though, is it more orange or red? I'm on the fence between black or coral red leather.
