I ran a BSP 350z and won many norcal autox events (over M3s). Don't underestimate a 350z they can be very fast cars. You can run 275's up front and 305's in the rear with little trouble. Add a Tiltion clutch, flywheel, and LSD and the car becomes more than a some of its parts. The Nismo adds them... ... but the brakes a very bad. Anyway if anyone wants to prove "they are faster" contact you local SCCA and you will find a Mazda Miatia wating to stomp all over you for the first few years. Have fun and keep it off the streets. Sent via an iphone... sorry for errors |

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it, but in Australia, the 135i starts at $71,800 and M3 at over $160,000 :eyebulge: Taking 'all' things into consideration including depreciation over time and then purchase price, the 135i gets my vote hands down. If I could afford or wanted an M3, for that kind of money I'd seriously look at what else is available in the market place in that bracket - for me as at least one other person's mentioned earlier in this thread, I'd buy the new R35 GT-R and pocket the $15,000 change ($150,000 for GT-R in Aust.) IMHO opinion that would be a no brainer, totally superior car for same or less money, the only consideration would be if you like it or not, looks wise... |
