Mine has been great. Had few times going back to the installer for adjustments.
I noticed another owner with 5K miles on there 1er and I had 6K they had quite a few chips and I had none where the bra is. I did start to see some on the side skirts and a few on the roof but very minimal. Definitely worth the 300 I spent. Edit: Just a note mine is 3M as well.

I have venture shield on the Bmw and do not experience the problems. The problem above is caused by the installer not the film itself. How do I know? Because on the civic I did my own using 3m and have the same bubbling. I kept it on because it does not bug me and it's protecting the paint. On the Bmw the shield using venture is flawless. Make sure you have an wxperience professional.

3M makes the best film hands down. No film is going to be "flawless" all of them have imperfections. The 3M film is thicker (think better protection) and resists yellowing more so than most of the other products out there.

I got 3M on my hood and bumper, it is holding up great. If anyone in Chicago needs it done, I can recommend they guy who put mine on. He is certified and does a great job.

I was quoted $595 for the bumper, front of the hood, front of fenders, and side mirror caps from the dealer

I have 3M on my hood, fenders, and front bumper and it's got a lot of orange peel but I have Venture Shield on my mirrors and it's flawless, you can barely tell it's there. Venture Shield is definitely getting my money next time.

BMW paint notoriously comes with orange peel from the factory....flawless clearbra can stick out even more if it doesn't match the finish of the paint. A little orange peel in the film can be a good thing.

Behind right rear wheel. 3M film area. Behind right front wheel. Line at hood. (front bumper covered) Only flaw in the 3M install. Yes, the car is filthy. It rained on the way home from work that day. You can see where some of the water/mud was thrown up on the fender film.

Great pics, thanks. I'd be interested to see more of the hood from different angles, this is my main point of concern. Do you have any?
