Can I fit 4 tires in the back of 135i?

I need to swap out my winter tires this weekend -- Can I fit 4 tires in the back of my 135 with the rear seats down? I don't want to use my front passenger seat.

Please let me know if anyone's done this successfully! Thanks in advance.

Depending on the size you can fit them all side by side on the back seat, standing.

For the record, in my 08 convertible, I can fit only 1 tire in the trunk. 2 on the backseat wiht a blanket wrapping them, and one in the front seat with a blanket. Then I move the seat up so the one in the front is snug. In case anyone searches for this thread.

(OEM tires)

Yeah, my 135i seriously has no trunk. So weird because its not that small of a car and it has no trunk or rear legroom. I have a 528i as a loaner, trunk feels bigger than a NYC studio apt. You could take a nap in it.

I'm lucky, my dealer stores off-season tires/wheels for free if the winter tire/wheels are purchased from them.

3 in the back seat, one in trunk worked for me.

This. I fit 4 wheels in the back seat vertically with little issue. I was actually surprised!

4 mounted tires and wheels, standing with seat backs down on rear seat. ( recommend you get a strap and keep them from rolling forward, you can hook the stra under the package shelf from the trunk side, there are lots of holes up there.

you can also AT THE SAME TIME, carry 2 in the trunk laying flat on top of each other ( mounted or un mounted ) and 2 more ( hopefully unmounted ) 1 of them in the front seat, the other behind the passanger front seat with the seat all the way forward.

have done it dozens of times...

all my wheels are 17 x 7.5 by the way ....

Over in the 1M forum, I saw someone carry 4 wheels/tires in the back seat without folding. Two were upright, and two were stacked on their sides.

Think about how surprised how I was. Verts lose something like 8-10 inches of rear shoulder room over coupes!
