Scopione CF Splitters and Diffuser Installed

Just wanted to post a couple pics of the Scopione front splitters and rear diffuser for those that were interested.

I ordered them from Scopione directly and the web site advertises that they are easy installation but that professional installation is advised. I initailly tried to do the install myself but found that the diffuser is certainly not a perfect fit and not "direct simple installation setup." I ended up waving the white flag and taking both pieces to a local performance shop here in AZ. They shaved the tabs as needed to get them to fit the rear bumper much cleaner than I would have ever gotten them. They also attached the splitters and added screws just behind the bumper for added stability. I was happy that I didn't try too hard to install them as even the shop said that they were difficult to install.

On the bright side, the pieces are seemingly high quality. The edges are clean, the CF has very few flaws and once on the car they do fit nicely.

I had the same issue with the diffuser; I also ended up taking it to a shop. The quality of the diffuser is actually really good. The splitters look awesome nice job!!!

Looks great. What tabs needed to be shaved? Curious as to how come you couldn't do it yourself? Fitment looks perfect in the photos.

You'll notice when you remove the stock diffuser that the tabs are straight and snap right into place. On the Scopione piece, the 2 side tabs fit nicely but all of the tabs along the top of the diffuser were pointing down at about a 40 degree angle. There's just no way that they can get up into the slots the way they are designed, they need to be modified.

Did the workshop put in new tabs or shave down the existing tabs? It sounds like a major flaw in their design.

Installation of the rear diffuser is a real pain in the ass. I put mine on with a lot of patience and grinding the tabs down with a dremel tool. Came out nice in the end but a drop in fit....no way.
