How Adaptive Headlights Work?
Guys
Just want to know if I screw up my adaptive headlights after installing the Lux V3 LED. It is so hard to fit the little black casing into the headlight housing so that it does not block the moving mechanisms inside. When driving at night, I steer left, I can see the light beam stir left and I got off the car and look at the front, both the projector faces left at an angle. I repeat the same for the right side but when i look at the projectors again only the left side projector facing right at an angle but the right side projector still remains staionary. Drove the car again and steer the steering wheel left & right, I can see the light beam moving left & right. Hopefully I am been over sensitive not the installation of the Lux V3 causes this as I might not put the little black Lux V3 casing properly. Thanks. |

Same thing pretty much happened to me. Installed LUX V3 LEDs and just two days ago when I was going up an indoor spiral parking (steered left the whole way for 5 floors), I received the adaptive headlight error.
When the car is moving, the headlights will turn accordingly as I steer. However, when I'm at a full stop, my headlights will only turn right when I steer right but it won't turn left when I steer left. This didn't happen before the error light, but I'm bringing the car back to dealership to have a check up to see if anything's been damaged (took out the LUX LED and replaced it back with the OEM halogen). I really can't seem to be able to find a good enough space to place the little black box... |

If I'm not mistaken, you can put it in a little hole/ void back there and you should be good...
