Is the facelift X1 coming to US in Valencia orange as well?

Saw the pics of X1 from NY auto show and it looks very much like Valencia orange...and if they are showing in US then it will be offered in US, unlike what Scott26 had stated in past that Valencia will only be on 1M in US. So much for exclusiveness.

Valencia Orange (VO) is also used on the F20's right now. And since the X1 is also built on the same factory line (Leipzig Werk) its not surprising that the X1 is offered in this color.

I was gonna say are you sure that's VO cause I know they have another color that's similar on the Mini(?) so maybe it's that. Then I looked at your sig with the VO 1m and yah, that looks Valencia to me.

Kind of a bummer if they bring the color over on other more mundane models.

^^Lets stay on topic guys! Don't worry about it being posted in the 1M forum. Its ok because VO is the primary color for the 1M.

I think that Mini color is called: Spice Orange. Its more of a duller color.

VO does come on the F20. I took a picture of one at the IAA (Frankfurt Auto Show) last year. Plus I've seen some on the road. VO looks better on the 1M - I don't know why, but it does.

It does look great in VO! But just because it was shown in VO it does not translate into it being available in VO once the production units for the US are built...only time will tell, but I don't mind it a bit.

Are you sure about that? I asked the same question to BMW marketing director at auto show and he did not think that M5 will be offered in Sakhir orange. Its not listed on the BMW Global site M5 configurator either. I wish it was offered.

I am, it is in the brochure, see Optional Equipment section. It will be a cost option but nevertheless offered, I may consider it myself but need to see it in person first.
