No problem with N55 and aftermarket systems bolting right up. That end of the N55 is identical to the N54 pipe actually.

Hey guys,
I am also contemplating the N55 mid pipe mod. Will the car go into limp mode with the factory software? or would i need to get a tune? Thanks! Chris |

You shouldn't have any problems with the N55 mids, in fact with regard to getting into limp mode you shouldn't have problems with any of the alternative mids. Maybe if you have a tune which will give you more boost but you don't compliment it with additional cooling hardware then you might have this problem, not with mids or rear mufflers only.

Thanks for the input. So I guess I won't be expecting a CEL after the N55 mod? |

I just installed my Maddad midpipe today. Sound is fantastic with stock exhaust. Quiet, smooth and a bit deeper with gentle throttle but a really wonderful F1 like whine on full throttle. Love it.
