You guys make the call. I think they should, all BMW's should be the sportiest of their kind. Period.

I don't think they should. It's better to have different options for different tastes.
Some people think the ride is too hard, I think is too soft and I think my e46 330ci was stiffer than my e90 330i.

That should be reserved for the M cars.

I also get the feeling you'd kinda want it to be exclusive as well from your statement? That makes sense. Though I still stand by my thought.

Keep it as an option. Many people do not appreciate the ZSP package namely due to the firmer ride.

I didn't want ZSP. Having my car as a daily driver, meant I needed comfort more than performance/cornering ability.

My old car with sports suspension was a little to stiff on some of the worse roads here.

BMW 3's are also sold to poeple who don't want to go raceing round corners, but would prefer a more luxurious ride.

ZSP should definately be an option. I like it how we can spec the car here:
Normal suspension - but then we can add sports seats / sport steering wheel seperatly, to get the best of both worlds.

If all the cars had sport package, I think BMW would lose sales (especially in the northeast). The number of E90's in my area increased dramatically after the xi models were released. People here are more interested in comfort, luxury, and a degree of practicality. That's also one of the reasons many BMW's are optioned with Steptronic.

Only in a limited model such as the M cars would a standard sport suspension be accepted by the public. Although, I would go for a no-cost option Sport Package

Where can I find some details about the sports package for a 325i? I know about the wheels, tires, seats and steering wheel, but how about the details on the suspension changes? Everything I read says sports tuned, but how about the nitty gritty. Anything with the brakes? Etc. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Of course not. Why would any company want to do something like that?

I would rather drive a 10 year old Civic than a ZSP around here...the roads are like friggin' Lebanon.

My husband and I drive BMWs, and we drive and live differently. One of us drives only himself, has a great route to enjoy his car to and from work. One of us gets groceries and runs other errands, drives friends and family in the car.

One of us has to have ZSP. The other does not.

I'm glad we can choose. If they put ZSP on everything, one of us would be choosing a different brand. We both love to drive, love cars and technology. Car enthusiasts is what I like to call it.
