Driver side mirror - wobbles when driving

Hey guys,

New owner of a 2013 135i and the driver's side mirror wobble and shakes when driving down the road. The passenger side is solid. Is there an adjustment that I can do to tighten this down? Or do I have replace just the mirror part? Or worse yet, do I have to replace the entire mirror unit?

The car does not have fold-in mirrors. Not sure if that helps or not.

Thanks!

Its probably loose. Remove the mirror only and reattach it make sure its back kn place. I replaced these on both of my cars.

Several years ago someone broke broke both my mirrors in a parking lot. So I replaced them. But I find it hard to get them snapped into their mounting position. My drivers side was the hardest. I think it is OK now but I have snapped it in several times and had it come loose later. I hope you have better luck. But basically the mirror snaps into the mount and when it is only partially attached it shakes.

Mine did the same while driving. It was the glass itself. You might be able to pull it loose and glue it back on with proper adhesive before it falls off while you are driving. Mine fell off while parked in my driveway. Nothing else was loose within the housing.
