Smart idea. How did you adhere the plate onto the bumper? Adhesive tape?

No, i used the holes that the dealer drilled into the bumper to put that HUGE black plastic ugly plate holder that sticks out like 4 inches from the bumper. Then i just punched 2 holes that aligned with the bumper holes, into the plate, and used the same screws and put it on! Nothing underneath ....

Haha finallyyy delivered. I didnt put anything in between, i checked once and there was no scratches. There wasnt anything in between the plate holder so i figured just leave it the same. Ill put the plate frame holder back on when it goes back end of lease.

Damn front plate. What a pia.
I wonder if should at least order a better holder and give it to the dealer before they start drilling holes.
Who was your dealer?

State of NJ seems to have a problem with EVERYTHING, but 6 months now and nothing yet about my plate being bent, which is illegal. I got a ticket for my rear plate holder covering literally the last 1/16 of inch of the words new jersey!! Can you believe tha sh!t?? But even then nothing for the front plate. Weird if you ask me... Park Ave in Maywood, i would def give them something bc what they give you is the ugliest plate holder in the worrld!

Very similar to that picture, yes ... I guess on a black car it wouldnt look that bad, but IMO on white, it looks awful.
